Network Lining insulates ducting network
It is often required to insulate the ducting for either Heat Loss
(Thermal lining) or to reduce the noise level (Acoustic lining).
Noise level is highest at the Fan End, therefore normally Acoustic
lining is required at Fan End, while heat loss precaution needs to be taken at the far end of ducting.
Network Lining makes things easier.
- Select the type of lining (Acoustic or thermal),
- Select Lining thickness (This is always in MM)
- Select the duct side (Internal or External)
- Select percentage of tottal ducting network to be covered
- Select starting point for lining (From Fan End or from other end)
Now select all components in the ducting network. Selection by
window is the easiest method.
Tool will calculate the running length of the main duct line and
will insulate it
